Same problem the needles are jamming in the carriage plate when using the ribber bed. It jams on the top needles. I have tried everything I can think of to cure this problem. The carriage glides over both beds when no needles are in use. Knitmaster 700 top bed with SRP60 ribber bed.
Hi Sue thanks that seems to have solved the problem although my previous problem of the wool only being laid over the main bed when casting on is still a problem have tried with settings in every postition possible it is now placing the wool over the ribber needles but missing every 3rd one out. Help please if you can.

Hi Margaret,
Have you checked the sponge bars? If they are worn they will not exert enough pressure on the needles and can cause the problem you describe.
The foam should be about 1/4" above the metal bar all the way along, if it is less than this they need replacing.

Sue
