brother ribber kr 850?

dose the kr 850 have sponge on the bar ,as ive bought it of ebay, replaced the one on knitting machine, check the ribber but it looks like its never had one in ,

Hi Tracey,
The KR850 has a grey plastic retaining bar - you slide it in so that the flat plastic side is against the needles. It does not have any foam on it.
