Mend Ferroli HE 31 C Optimax Heating Boiler

how can i setup my ferroli boiler?

my son who is in hospital has a ferroli HE 31 C Optimax
boiler at his home, when I tried to run the heating I messed it up. I am not sure what position the black and blue switches should in. Are they in straight line following direction of piping or Xways. Please help.
