Mend Candy CE104 Clothes Heating Thermostat

candy ecylpsa ce104?

My candy seems to be shrinking my clothes (no really!) is it heating the water too high? Would this be a problem with something like a thermostat and is it worth fixing? Its set up for cold fill only.
