Lg washer is leaking from the bottom?

Before any inspection of the machine is undertaken, make sure electricity is removed from the machine! Washing machines are heavy so you are going to have to make sure that the machine is secure when leaned against a wall, This will allow you to inspect the underside of the washer. Two areas the washing machine may be leaking these are, Main rubber outflow pipe located at the base of the drum(this may be perished). Pump can also be located at the base of the machine, check pipes are not damaged here also. My money though is on the door seal, These perish over time and can leak under the machine. Simply inspect the seal for wear holes.One more tip, check(if you have one) the filter cover has been remounted correctly.
