Mend GPC 8073 Pull Starter Chainsaw

Wear on pull starter plastic cog?

GLPC40 Petrol Chainsaw Model No. 8073.
Have used this model for approx. 10 hours and have replaced pull starter twice due to wear on the cog which turns the motor over. Any views on alternative pull starter or method to start engine with fewer pull starts?
