Mend Renault Scenic 53 Help Battery

renault scenic 53, problems! help !?

my scenic wasnt starting , had the battery charged and it stated ok , but unless i keep the revs up , the engine seems to slow then stop , italso now has check emmissions light on , any ideas ?
