Mend Dyson Animal Side Suction Hose

How can I fix my Dyson Animal D14?

My Dyson Animal D14 has lost a part during a move. It is the part on the handle side at the very very bottom where the suction hose attachment should go into the vaccuum cleaner body. That part is gone! What is it called and can it be replaced?
