Mend Whirlpool 8280869 Washing Machine Grinding Noise Repair

My whirlpool 8280869 won't agitate nor spin?

The washer will fill then only mekes loud grindy-noise during agitate and spin cycle but will fill amd drain the water when it's supposed to. When I try to do the agitate bey hand it's hard and will only move in the direction it's supposed to as if it was working.
