Mend Fisher & Paykel E402B Fridge Building Ice

Fridge not cooling and freezer is building ice quicker than the antarctic?

My 11 1/2 yr old fisher and paykel E402b fridge/freezer is over freezing in the frezer compartment even if I the settings mare adjusted to high. This morning my fridge just does not appear to be cooling at all.
Is it worth paying $105 for a technician to come for a diagnosis then there is the cost for whatever parts may need replacing. Anyone else had a similar experience?
