Why won't my Toshiba HDTV 50H81 turn on?

Mine has been off for 3days now!!!! Has been doing this for about a year now, but usually comes right back on! HELP

I am having the same problem with my Toshiba now. Did you get an answer? A repair guy has had our TV for a couple of weeks and is about to throw up his hands. Don't want to keep throwing good money after bad. My wife wants me to chalk it up as a loss and get a new one.
