Mend Creda C361EW Cooker Replacement Electric

How to replace a regulator on a Creda Concept C361EW?

What do I need to remove to access the regulator?
I can see a screw holding the side plates after removing the side panel of the cooker but how do you get to it as it is under the band that holds the top plate on?
