Mend Aiwa Z-1290 Clicking Noise Open

aiwa compact disc stereo system z-1290?

The cd will not open and when I first switch the system on the cd makes a clicking noise as although its trying to do something, also I cant open the tape doors. When I press eject nothing happens. Does this system have a code of some sort to unlock it?
