how to bleed the fuel on a transit van LWB Hi TD, 03 REG?

would remove the filter and manually fill with diesel,maybe a good time to renew it also,open up a couple of injector pipes and crank over and hopefully get fuel up to the injectors,tighten the unions and try,sometimes can be awkward to get running again and know a guy at the local ford garage who has a pipe and funnel made up to put a direct feed down onto the pump to get the fuel directly into the pump and cut down on cranking without a lubricant for the pump,good luck
