Mend Hotpoint WD420 Stopped Working Looked

How can I fix Hotpoint WD420 washer/dryer?

My Hotpoint WD420 Washer/dryer has stopped working. It went through a full cycle. When I came to use it again all the lights came on everything looked normal and then when i pressed the start button nothing happened. What could be the problem?
