Mend Bosch RD 532i Boiler Fault Starts

Bosch RD 532i Boiler?

Intermittent fault when the boiler overheats and starts knocking - flow temperature goes up above 100.
System then shuts down and goes into syphonic fill programme until eventually everything returns to normal.
Only error code in fault history (other than EA is F0)
Is there anything I can do or is it an engineer call out?
