Socket switch Tripping fuse?

My socket switch keeps tripping the fuse board, I did all the usual and unplugged and turned everything off on that circuit and was able to switch it back on after an hour of trying and then systematicaly turned the fridge and freezer etc on and nothing tripped it again however an hour later it tripped again I'd not turned anything on or off. And this has been it since 12 last night I am able to get it on for 10 mins - 1 hour and then it trips again please help
