could any one help? my oven works ok till it reaches 200 degrees then turns off for a few minutes. then it switches itself back on as if it has had to cool down. the thermostat in the oven works at lower temperatures just not above 200. is this the oven thermostat at fault or the thermo cut out?
the fan comes on but not all the time. but yes sometimes it does seem that things do cook quickly!! would this be something easy to replace?

is the cooling fan switching on and blowing air out the front vent?.If it is you will feel the air flow by holding your hand up to the vent above the grill door.there is also a cut out stat on the back of the oven cavity.A way out of calibration oven thermostat could cause this fault but would generally mean things cook to quickly or burn
