Hotpoint aqauarius washing machine?

My parents machine panel blew up dad being an electrician put a new control panel on it its all lighting up now but nothing else happening any furtherb suggestions

Switch on the power and when the language is displayed - press the child lock+ temperature+ spin buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds. Release the child lock button when other languages appear. Scroll down using temperature button-until English is dispalyed. Select using child lock button.
