zanussi 1200 aquacycle washing machine wont start?

Hi there,
We had some building work done and i had to store my washing machine in the garage for a few days but the weather was very cold (for the UK) - down to -8. I have since re-plumbed the washing machine however now all that happens is the lights come - i can select a wash cycle as normal and then when i press start it does nothing? Anyone have any ideas?
