Multifunction display problems on peugeot 407?

Yes you can pick a display screen up for bout 75-80 quid on
e-bay but the newer one's have the 12 pin socket in a
different location so when you come to fit it you will find
the wire with the 12 pin socket won't reach and that wire
comes from the back of the radio, great fun I don't think.

Hi. I have the same problem with LCD fading after about 15 mins and getting warm. The functions are all ok when cold... My problem is... everyone i have seen for sale on e bay etc has a brown 12 pin connection.. mine has only 6. can anyone advise pls. Its a 2005 407 sw

Yes . Ours is the same year and the screen is fine in the morning but after about 5 min the screen is unreadable.

hi. my display in P 407 its dark all the time. Only when its the car colt its possible read. How much cost the new one or its better put something diferent there. Maybe from clarion if its compatability. And if i after dont lose the control for setings like clim control, trip computer.

Yes its a common problem heat causes the printed circuit to fail the only repair is to replace the display
