Mend LDV Wont Start Cold

My LDV mini bus wont start on cold days. ?

Its not just ythe battery as it seems to be the thing that starts the battery.

you will have to be more specific,is the engine cranking over ok?do you just get a click?also is it the early 2,5di engine or the later 2.4 duratorq
