Triton T80si constantly running after repair?

Hi, I have replaced the stabilising valve assembly on my Triton T80si as it was leaking. However now water constantly flows through the shower head as if the shower is turned on and the only way I can stop it is by turning the water mains off. Could it be that I have damaged the solenoid valve and this is letting water pass through? Any thoughts appreciated, thanks.
