ceiling rose?

if I switch off one bedroom light others on the circuit wont work It has been suggested the bedroom ceiling rose is wired incorrectly the rose in question has only a 2 core wire in ie blue / brown any ideals

if you only have two connections in ceiling rose,then something is wrong,you should have three,live neutral and an earth,you may have a loop in ,loop out to the switch,best get a electrician in to check it out,
