accenta alarm?

Yes GTS, Ive been doing this for 26 years, and still customer's especially new ones with non maintained systems, say the most stupid of things, eg battery 15 years old, needs replacing, Oh i thought these were rechargeable, can you not take it back to who supplied it and get a free replacement.
Take note public, If you buy a bell box or alarm panel from B+Q, Focus or any of the other DIY stores it will be off very poor quality, YALE Alarms springs to mind, What a pile of junk.
If they sold proffessional alarm equipment, we the installer's would be in there buying it.
Avoid Maplins for their Yuasa batteries unless of course you do enjoy being ripped off. Oh yes and their clue-less staff,
£36 for a 7amp Yuasa is criminal, pay £15 tops, us engineers pay a lot less than that.

Change the bell box, cheap bell box circuit boards are exposed to the elements, and aimed more at the DIY market. As the DIY market is aimed at exactly that, people who try to save money on security items, get exactly what they pay for, cheap and nasty alarm equipment, I come across this at least once a week,
Proffesional bell boxes will last 10-15 years and all electronic parts encapsulated in a plastic housing,
