We have a Whirlpool "Ultimate Care II", which is a water saver.
The 2nd, or rinse, cycle was eliminated. The mach. goes directly to spin cycle and sprays water on the clothes as they spin. Also, this machine is very well designed and rugged.
Regular machine: 42-45 gallons/load
Ultimate Care II: 18 gallons/load, and the clothes come out very clean and well-rinsed and almost ready to iron!
