Mend Canon PC780 Start Electrician Power

My Canon PC780 will not switch on?

After I last used my copier it switched itself off.

I cannot get it to start - I am an electrician so can confirm that the power supply to the machine is OK.

In technical terms it is "dead"

Can you help me to find the fault?
