Mend Smeg 10XMF/1 Oven Temperature Element

How can i fix my Smeg oven model 10XMF/1?

My oven does not heat up. The grill works fine and so does the main oven element (when I swapped the leads with the grill and the main element heated.) I assume it is either the temperature cut off valves or the thermostat but would appreciate advice rather than trying to replace everything. Thanks
