Mend Volkswagen Passat Reg Light Going

Vw Passat 52 reg. My Airbag light is on?

My airbag light has come on! Without going to a VW Dealer and getting crusified with a crushing bill what else can i do? Is there user info to turn it off? I have tried disconnecting the battery etc.. to see if it resets itself.

Volkswagen Volkswagen Passat Vehicles, Cars Reg Light Going

you can buy a lead off ebay called vagcom 409.1.you can connect this to a pc and cancel/look at fault codes related to the airbag light HOWEVER if there is a fault somewhere it will come back on again.favourite one to cause a fault is the steering wheel one getting a high resistance reading
