Nissan Almera 2L GTI R Reg?

Baffled as to what I check first ?
I had borrowed daughters Almera 2.0 GTI 3 door R reg and upon driving it to her house for return I parkd it locked it with fob and returned keys, only problem at this time was a very leaky back box due to be replaced 2 days l8r.

The next day after dinner daughter went to car upon unlocking with fob ignition on and when turned the key found that the car would not fire at all, engine was turning but not firing
