Mend Nissan Almera Sensor

MAf sensor Nissan Almera?

Hi There,

I read an article on the net about a do-it-yourself job how to clean the MAF sensor on a car, my car is a 2003 almera 1.5L, just wondering is this recommended, the sensor is not giving any trouble but I thought about giving it a quick tidy up to keep the engine running at top notch, any ideas or comments welcome

Nissan Nissan Almera Vehicles, Cars Sensor Nissan Almera

If you don't have a problem with it (uneven idle, lack of grunt) just leave it as it is. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
It's a sensitive little device. For this car it can be a very pricey part to replace. In some countries they charge over 300 pounds for it!
