The element in my neff u1721n2gb01 oven blew and I have replaced it with a genuine bosch replacement element. Unfortunately, the new element is not heating up. The old element was connected by 2 wires which I just connected to the same places on the new element. Any reason why the new element does not heat up? Everything else, fan, etc working fine.
The problem was 2 fold - the Thermal Cut out had gone and the main oven Thermostat had gone. Engineer said the initial cause may have been the main oven thermostat causing the element to blow and the thermal cut out.
