Mend Fellowes Stops Years Fine

Fellowes shredder that stops 2/3rds of the way down a page?

My Fellowes shredder is 2-3 years old and works fine in reverse! but when shredding it stops 2/3rds of the way down a page, the red light comes on and I have to press reverse for a second and then press forwards again to complete shredding - its not overheating as it does it even when just turned on, and its well oiled - what else could it be?
