Mend Fiat Multipla 1.9 JTD Diesel Cuts Running

how can i fix my w reg fiat multipla diesel engine?

My Fiat Multipla 1.9 JTD, cuts out after running for only 2 minutes (diesel) it wont start again for 5 to 10mins,then when it decides to start again, it runs for about 2mins again etc,changed the fuel filter, but still cutting out, any ideas ?

Try changing the crankshaft sensor,its located just below the starter motor ...... Mine was doing the same thing and its sorted now thats been changed .

with out looking at it its hard to say what this could be.
The best thing to do is diagnostics. first code read it to see what faults are stored in the ecu that should give you an idea where to start looking. futher than that is live data so you can see what the fuel system and electrics are doing.
