Where can I get cheap/good Break Discs & Pads?

I have a MK Golf GTI, Over 100000 miles on the clock and ive been told I need new front & Back break discs and pads. I dont want to be paying hundreds for them but i dont want them to be rubbish! Any suggestions?

if the discs are not too bad you can get them skimmed at a fraction of the new set
