Mend Matsui VP9608 Unlock Power Code

How can I unlock my MATSUI VP 9608?

In summary I had a power cut so the code was then needed for my video. I thought I remembered it but it appears not and I have foolishly had 3 attempts which has then protected the video. Is there anyway that this can be by-passed and if not is there any way of gaining 3 more attempts??

You can gain three more attempts by unplugging the video recorder for a short time. This should unlock it and give you some more attempts. Hope this works.

You could try talking to DSG (aka Dixons) as Matsui is one of their own brands.
