How do I fix lights/fan on Stoves E2h600?

The panel light on my Stoves E2h600 went out a few weeks back so I ordered a new tube and starter (saves time). I installed the new tube and the panel light worked when the elements controlled from the right hand side controls were switched on but not the left hand side ones. Also the cooling fan followed the same pattern. The cooling fan was working correctly before. I assume there is a loose connection that I have disturbed. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
