i have a hitachi mcb30 microwave and the turn table wont turn is there a repair i can do myself, and is it safe to use like this.The item is about 18 months old.

its not worth the cost of repair,you can buy new motor,but by the time you add labour,you can buy new unit cheaper

not really safe as the food will get hot BURNT spots due to lack of rotation but could still be froze in other places SALMONELLA (chicken) most microwaves tables are driven by a small motor maybe able to buy one or maybe not.

my option scrap it buy a new microwave and take out a warranty
