Black & Decker GW250 leaf blower/vacuum Diagram?

Is there a diagram of the internal housing to show how the motor sits? I have had to fix the rocker switch by using a hard plastic raw plug but in doing so knocked the motor out of place. Now I can't close the housing tight enough to attach the blower/vacuum parts. Have tried various positions but no joy. Have tried without the motor in and it fits perfectly so I know this is definately the problem.
Hope you can help.

Rest assured- I was NOT being sarcastic

Hi Pleasant

I don't understand why the need for sarcasm when my simple question is just for a diagram.

Fair enough- you are obviously more qualified than me about repairing machinery and sourcing repair instructions.

Don't really know why you came on here then.

I know there is a plan "out there" because I came across it when searching for answers about the on/off switch which helped to reasemble the switch parts correctly. Although the machine is a few years old it has hardly been used, less than 1/2 an hour in total so I belive it is worth persevering. You say it is not designed to be repaired but I have found a site that sells all the spares, (www.powertoolspares.com) so this cannot be the case. I originally took it to a qualified garden appliance repair centre but they wern't interested because the cost would be nearly the same as buying a new one!
Thanks for your safety concern, Pleasant, but all connections have been checked with a multi-meter and will be again if I ever get the housing closed.

Why must you "know there's one out there somewhere" on what do you base that assumption?

Like I've said there are no repair instructions because they are not designed to be repaired- and certainly not by an unqualified person.

To be honest what you have done with the on/off switch is dangerous and could inhibit its function. Even if you could re-assemble it I would suggest you shouldn't continue to use it.

I know it's not designed for repair but the main problem was the on/off switch which I have fixed by wedging the raw plug in. That bit now all works fine. If I could only see a plan, which I know must be out there somewhere, then I can position the motor in it's correct position to close the casing tight enough. It is literally out by no more than 1/16th of an inch.

No chance- it's not designed to come apart for repair.
