Dashboard illumination not illuminating!?

I have a T reg Fiesta and the dashboard speedo cluster, blower dials etc have stopped illuminating when you turn the lights on. At the same time the rear lights (but not brake lights, fog, reverse, and indicators) have stopped working, plus the front sidelights don't work too! Is it coincidence they all stopped working at the same time?
