Hi Mick, most likely the switch has either fallen off the brake pedal or the switch has failed, if it hasn't fallen off short the pins of the plug with a paper clip or something similar if the lights then work its the switch if not either the fuse#13 or a wiring fault, I take it you have checked the bulbs!!
