if it is fwd,remove gear linkage from top of g/box,remove the six 10mm bolts holding the top g/box selector cover on,and it should pull off,in there are two needle roller bearings which are bad for seizing and drying out,if you are taking this job on have these and the top shaft oil seal ready to fit,it is a matter of stripping this mechanism down, not bad to do but remove the reverse light switch and there is a grub screw in there too,take note of the removal sequence and rebuild in reverse,give the needle rollers a good grease and watch and dont drop anything into the box,good luck
