Mend Miele Dishwasher Draining

My miele dishwasher stops after a few mins ... just fills with water ?

My dishwasher starts up and has a low droning noise, fills with water at the bottom and then just empties it ... then the function lights all light up and the machine stops? any ideas?

sounds like the circulation pump has stopped working. make sure that the bottom filters are clear and nothing has got passed them in the sump (i.e matchsticks, prune stones etc).
if it fills and drains oK, then the only other component is the circ pump ( expensive!!)
