Mend Zanussi TD275 Lights Switched Heat

Zanussi TD275 four lights flashing in sequence?

Having foolishly switched from low heat to high heat whilst the machine was still working it stopped and now the four lights on the front are flashing in sequence. Any ideas how to cure this .... or does it mean it is dead?
