Hotpoint Aquarius WD420 fault codes? (high heat + reduce creases flashing)?

About 3 weeks ago our Hotpoint Aquarius WD420 starting tripping out the mains, my dad said it was probably the drying eliment goofed because the clothes were coming out cold regardless of it being on a wash cycle or drying.

Wash cycles worked ok, so it wasn't a problem.

This morning after it's washed everything I go to it to find the on/off button flashing, it flashes twice slowly, pauses then flashes about 15 times fast.

In addition the Drying High Heat and Reduced Creases lights are flashing 3 times each, together about a second to each flash, a pause, then another 3 flashes.

Initially switching the machine off did nothing, so I switched it off, turned the dial to Fast Spin, switched it back on (at mains) and it did several spins fine.

Is this related to the drying eliment?
Is there an easy fix?

my hotpoint aquarious tumble drayer not starting, high heat light flashing twice when tryig to start also beeping twice.

this happened to my machine about three months ago and it turned out where the power goes into the machine at the back there is what looks like a transformer and it had burned out. managed to get another off a friends old machine and replace it, too be honest though it was a bit of a job as the wiring was a nightmare and if you arent confident at electrical work should probably leave to an engineer (i was just a tight scotsman on a mission and was determined to fix it!) hope this helps
