Mend Sanyo SC-X90 Work Power Motor

sanyo SC-X90 vacuum cleaner doesn't work?

I have dismantled the machine. Power direct to motor works. Switch seems ok. Shorting out switch makes no differencen Cable continuity seems Ok. Shall I just buy a new machine?
