i have a seat alhambra on a 04 plate?

i have a seat alhambra on a 04 plate and few days ago i am having problems in locking the doors with the remote i have changed the batteries on both of the remotes but still it locks it when it feels like it but manually if i put the key in the key hole it will lock the doors but alarm light on door will not flash.
