I have a peugeot 207gti turbo,1.6 it is 3 years old,and done 16000 miles,since jan 2010 it has used 2 ltrs of oil,there is NO signs of any oil leakage,can you advise why it uses so much oil,it cannot be right for such a car to shed 50% of its oil,in 9 months??
I would take this into Peugeot straight away as this sounds like a fault. i have done 13,000 and have never had to top up the oil once this is from new. When was the last time it had its service done.

This might be a normal thing with the way the engines are built ........if it doesn`t leak or smoke I wouldn`t worry about it ......

many new performance engines will use oil nowadays and is normal and some use a lot more than you have experienced as some vag group engines can use upto1 litre per 1500miles !
