Mend Washer Top Main

replace washer?

i can take the top od my tap off but cannot undo the main body to get at the washer

You will need a spanner to fit the gland nut and a pair of stilsons to hold the spout while you turn the spanner. Put a piece of cloth around the spout to prevent damage.
