How do i fix my electrci cooker?

My cooker has 4 flat rings for cooking. one of them does not work properly and now is beginning to trip my lights. what is the cause of it and i do i repair it

the switch for one of my cooking elements has basically fell off and wont go back on so i cant work it. electrolux premier ek5361

One heating element is defective - it is shorting out as it warms up - causing the safety switch to operate on your consumer unit.

Have a specialist call and fit a new element. In the mean time just cook on three rings.
